Fall Into the Season With These 3 Gourmet Snacks

Rosettes – the weather finally broke, and we couldn’t be more excited! The fall is a great time to create some delicious and healthy dishes with fall’s harvested fruits and veggies. We love to share our favorite healthy foods because we are firm believers that you are what you eat, and health starts from the inside out. Do you want to see your hair grow healthy and full? Make sure you’re getting your vitamins from the best source – your food – and watch your body flourish!

Here are some of our favorite healthy, gourmet snacks for women like you who are simultaneously on the go and wanting to eat well. Bon Appetit!

Hearty garlic kale and chickpeas (from minimalistbaker.com)
This has to be one of Janell’s all-time favs. This delicious and hearty salad is perfect for a nice, cool fall meal. Kale is flavorful and contains a ton of Vitamin C, which promotes growth and sustainability for collagen needed for hair. The chickpeas pack flavor and crunch, and contain vitamin B-6, vitamin K, protein, fiber, and magnesium – some key nutrients to nourish your body while making moves!

Savory Vegetable Pancakes (from vegetariangastronomy.com)
These pancakes are easy to make and packed full of your favorite veggies – making them a perfect addition to your diet. Pick your favorite vegetables and shred them with a grinder, add oat flour, brown rice flour, water, salt, and lemon juice to create a nice batter. You can pan fry them on the stove, and then add your favorite sauces to dress them. Not only are these pancakes delicious, they pack vitamins such as potassium and iron to keep your inner self healthy and moving.

Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower Bites with Cashew Ranch Dressing(diannesvegankitchen.com)
It’s football season, and we love adding cauliflower to the tailgate party menu! It’s a great sub for your veggie-loving friends that don’t eat chicken or other meats. Even better, this dish is pretty much impossible to stop eating and is 100% vegan. The cashews alone (in the “ranch” dressing) contain healthy fats and copper, which promote collagen and elasticity for your hair and skin!

Another fun idea to consider is drinking your vitamins in hot teas and ciders. Try this Superfood Hot Apple Cider, and add our Superfoods vitamin for a superfood boost.
