Dope-Ish: Easy Fashion Looks For $150 Or Less

Dope-Ish: Easy Fashion Looks For $150 Or Less
Hey Rosettes, have you seen the latest episode of Dope-Ish? Everyone loves a challenge, so we challenged Rosettes (and one “Bro-sette”) to come up with chic fits for $150 or less and they definitely understood the assignment.

When it comes to looking fresh, there’s no need to break the bank. This week, we’re revisiting the styles shown and putting you on to how to get these hot looks for less!

Versatile Vixen
Our first challenger pairs a sleek black minidress with show stopping knee-high boots and glitzy gold accessories for a look that’s part vintage, full-on glam, and easily goes from day to night!

For a little black dress that easily goes from brunch to the bar check out the Notch Collar Double Breasted Blazer dress from Emery Rose, Fairy Season’s Button Turn-Down Collar Mini Dress or Wild Fable’s Short Sleeve Bodycon Polo Dress. Accessorize with a Gold Tone Ring Set, Oversized Gold Hoops (both from Belk’s) and the 3 Row Layered Chain and Medallion Necklace by A New Day to set the look off. Finally, finish up with a little flair with the Azalea Wang “Say My Name” Black Stiletto Boot, and you’re good to go!

Boss Bro
If you’re shopping for the man in your life or you’re a Brosette looking to step out in style this season, you’ll want to peep what our second challenger put together! Our featured Brosette sports a casual-yet-cool sweater and button-down with slim fit jeans for a look that encapsulates comfort while staying on-trend.

Start out with a staple sweater like the Mainstay Crewneck Sweater from the Gap or the J. Crew Supersoft Wool Crewneck and layer it with a coordinated button down, like the Faux Suede Snap-Button Jacket from Forever 21 or the Men’s Flap Pocket Suede Jacket from SHEIN. Pair it all with slim-fit denim like the Premium Distressed Jeans from Forever 21 and your favorite kicks and your ‘fit is finished.

Bold and Beautiful
Are you the type that likes to stand out? Our third challenger put together a bright daytime look comprised of a striped button down crop sweater and fab flares that’s sure to bring the sunshine wherever you go.

To get this look, first grab a funky sweater like Zara’s Combination Jacquard Knit Cardigan or Striped Cotton Knit Cardigan and add a pair of fun, fitted flares like ASOS’ 4505 Split Front Kick Flare Pants or the Minimalistic Solid Flare Pants from Urban Revivo. Top it all off with a pair of casual sneakers — we love the Gweraclya White Low Tops from Aldo or a classic pair of Chuck Taylor All Stars.

Our models from the Dope-Ish challenge made it clear: putting together a great look for less isn’t impossible. In fact, exactly the oppposite! Whether your style is more dressed to the nines, casual and comfortable or playfully poised, styling your ‘fit can be both fun and frugal.

What styles are you rocking this season, Rosettes (and Brosettes)?
